Multi-Editing Composer Tools Pro Presets

Composer Tools Pro’s Directory has several ways to perform edits across multiple presets.

Copying and Deleting Individual Preset Parameters

The directory allows you to selectively choose which preset parameters will be copied or deleted.

  1. Navigate to the Directory and tap the Copy or Delete button.
  2. Select presets from the list.
  3. Filter settings to be copied/deleted in the sidebar.

Multi-Edit

The Directory has two modes for editing multiple presets simultaneously: Interface and Attributes.

Multi-Edit Interface

Use Multi-Edit Interface to edit controls based on their position in the Home Screen window. For example, change the first fader for all presets to Modulation CC1.

  1. Navigate to the Directory and tap Multi-Edit.
  2. Select the presets to be edited, and tap Interface. Composer Tools Pro will present you with a blank preset. Edit it in the normal way.
  3. Once finished editing, tap Next, select the controls you want to apply and tap Apply Edits. Those selected controllers will be copied into the selected presets.

Multi-Edit Attributes

Use Multi-Edit Attributes to search for controls by name and edit individual parameters. For example, search for all keyswitches named Staccato and change the colour to green.

  1. Navigate to the Directory and tap Multi-Edit.
  2. Select the presets to be edited and tap Attributes.
  3. Select the type of control to be edited. Search for a controller by name, or edit controller setup parameters directly.
  4. Once finished editing, tap Next, select the parameters to apply, and tap Apply Edits.
